Why the Macaroni KID Family Favorites Exist
There was a time when fine dining meant candlelight, correct wine pairings, and thoughtful discussions about the day’s catch. These days, fine dining means finding a place that will not side-eye you when more food ends up on the floor than on your baby’s plate.
It means a restaurant with real, delicious food for grown ups that also does not judge you when you pull an Uncrustable out of your bag for your four year old so you can enjoy it. It means playgrounds that save Saturdays, coffee shops that understand survival caffeine, and ice cream that can turn an entire day around.
It means needing a daycare you can trust, a photographer who actually knows where to point the camera, and a summer camp that will not kick Ridley out for having feelings bigger than his body.
That is why we created the Macaroni KID Family Favorite Awards. Because moms and dads know. Parents know what works in real life. Parents know who shows up for their kids. Parents know who deserves the shoutout.
These awards are 100 percent authentic. There is no pay to play. Macaroni KID sponsors, partners, and advertisers do not receive preferential treatment during nominations or voting. We recognize both finalists and winners so the tiny businesses at the heart of our community have just as much chance to shine as the big names everyone already knows.
