Londonderry Principles
  • We believe it's just as important to help kids feel excited and curious about learning as it is to teach them facts and skills.
  • Kids learn best when they are doing hands-on activities and can talk and work with their teacher and classmate.
  • School should include all kinds of learning—like art, music, gym, outdoor play, cooking, and using computers—in a way that feels natural and fun.
  • Smaller class sizes help kids get more one-on-one attention. Having strong relationships with teachers over many years helps create a warm, caring school.
  • Mixing kids of different ages helps everyone learn and feel like part of a school family. It lets kids grow and learn at their own speed in a safe and happy place.
  • Each child should move through the lessons at their own pace, getting extra help when needed and being challenged when they’re ready.
  • Parents play a big role in helping Londonderry be a great school and in guiding what the school does in the future.

Why Choose Londonderry: With a focus on kindness, curiosity, and community, students learn at their own pace and build meaningful relationships. Through personalized instruction, mixed-age classrooms, and a commitment to emotional well-being, your child will thrive and become a confident, compassionate individual ready to engage with the world.

Our Building and Grounds: We created a LEED-certified building on a budget by focusing on simple, energy-efficient systems. The building has super insulation, recycled materials, and systems that are easy to maintain. We also included eco-friendly features like a rainwater collection system and wastewater treatment on-site. The school’s design is not only practical and cost-effective but also serves as a learning lab where students can explore sustainable design. Our school yard is spacious and features both wooded and grassy areas for children to explore. We have garden beds maintained by our students, a beautiful pond, and a hiking trail.

Business Review

"All parents worry; it’s part of the job description. Most of us want the same things for our children: to be kind, to explore and learn, to find joy and friendship, to grow into confident, self-aware adults. Enter Londonderry. The six hours a day my daughter, Charley, is at school, my worry lessens. I know she’s in an environment that values kindness, suits her learning pace, and surrounds her with teachers who truly know her. Thank you, Londonderry, for being a safe home for them to become the good humans we know they can be."
