The Great Big Adventure – Neurodiverse Network’s First-Ever Summer Camp!
๐ Cue the confetti cannons, space helmets, and maybe a sea shanty or two — Neurodiverse Network is launching its very first summer camp, and it’s going to be an unforgettable mix of creativity, connection, and inclusive fun!
The Great Big Adventure is open to all kids entering kindergarten through 5th grade, and thoughtfully designed to honor every brain and every need. Whether your child is autistic, ADHD, introverted, wildly imaginative, or just really into dragons, this camp is built to support, engage, and uplift.
Camp runs Monday–Thursday from 10am to 3pm at our welcoming community center in Downtown New Cumberland, with three themed sessions full of hands-on projects, social fun, and sensory-considerate magic:
๐ญ Space Explorers (June 16–19): Rockets, moon missions, and sci-fi storytelling — prepare for blast off!
๐ Ocean Quest (July 14–17): Water play, marine crafts, and the occasional fish pun. Dive in!
๐ Mythical Journeys (August 11–14): Dragons, superheroes, and storytelling galore. Imagination = required gear.
Each day includes indoor activities, creative projects, and a bit of outdoor time — possibly including nature walks or relaxed community exploring. Think adventure… with built-in snack breaks and emotional regulation support.
