🐾 HSHA 2026 Critter Camp
Are you crazy about animals? Do you love teaching them new tricks? HSHA’s 2026 Critter Camp is designed for young animal lovers who want to give back while learning how to be the very best furry companion they can be.
This immersive, hands-on summer camp is geared toward children ages 7–12 and blends animal care education, compassion, teamwork, and creativity — all while supporting animals in need.
At Critter Camp, campers will:
- Learn special skills through interactive workshops (pet CPR, animal careers, behavioral training, and more)
- Learn proper animal care and responsible pet ownership
- Hear from guest speakers in the animal world through both in-person workshops and video conferencing
- Meet many of HSHA’s adoptable pets
- Engage in creative and educational activities
- Participate in team-building workshops
- Practice reading skills by reading to animal companions
Daily Schedule:
Each summer camp session runs from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
Aftercare Option:
Aftercare is available as an add-on for pre-registered campers only and runs from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
- Aftercare – One Day: $15
- Aftercare – Full Week (5 days): $60
What’s Included:
Camp registration covers all activities, arts & crafts materials, a 2026 Critter Camp T-shirt, and a non-refundable $25 registration fee.
