It takes a village. We’re building it.
Could your expertise become part of our Village?
Macaroni KID is looking for a small group of trusted local professionals to help us build useful, family-focused resources in real estate, finance, health and wellness, law, education and child development.
Over the past several years, Macaroni KID has grown into far more than a calendar of things to do. Families come to us to find camps, schools, doctors, local businesses, community programs and answers to the many questions that appear somewhere between raising a child and trying to remember whether anyone moved the laundry into the dryer.
As I plan for 2027, I want to be increasingly intentional about the businesses and professionals I bring into that relationship.
I am not simply looking for advertisers willing to purchase space. I am looking for a few knowledgeable, community-minded professionals who want to become recognizable resources for local families while helping me build genuinely useful content.
Introducing Family Resource Corners
Each Corner will create a permanent library of practical, locally relevant articles addressing the decisions families face throughout the year. A selected Impact Partner will be recognized as the Corner’s Founding Partner and presented as a trusted local resource within that field.
We are currently seeking partners for:
Real estate, moving with children, preparing a family home to sell, neighborhood spotlights and helping families choose where and how they want to live.
Family budgets, savings, major expenses, financial protection, planning for the future and raising children who understand money.
Physical health, emotional wellness, preventive care, healthy routines and navigating healthcare for children and parents.
Estate planning, custody considerations, teen drivers, caregiver documents, special-needs planning and the legal protections families may not realize they need.
Education, child development, learning differences, school transitions, enrichment and helping children thrive in ways that reflect who they actually are.
What would we create together?
Each Founding Corner Partner will receive all the benefits of an annual Macaroni KID Impact Partnership, along with an enhanced role in building the Corner:
- Recognition as a Founding Partner of the applicable Family Resource Corner
- A permanent Corner landing page housing the partner’s educational content
- One dedicated, family-focused article each month
- Guaranteed monthly newsletter content placement within the purchased region
- Increased homepage visibility for new Corner articles
- Partner recognition and a direct link within applicable content
- Opportunities to help shape the Corner’s editorial direction
- Preferred consideration when readers ask for a trusted local resource in the partner’s field
- Appropriate inclusion in related guides, seasonal features and community projects
Who writes the articles?
Partners who enjoy writing may submit a complete, publication-ready article for me to edit and format.
If writing is not your thing, I can independently research, write and edit the complete article.
For legal, medical, financial or other specialized subjects, I may ask the partner to complete one final factual or compliance review. The purpose is to verify professional accuracy, not to shift the responsibility for creating the content back to the partner.
What could a full year of content look like?
Open any Corner below to see a possible 12-month editorial calendar.
Partners do not need to use these topics. We will build a calendar that reflects the partner’s expertise, current priorities, seasonal opportunities and the questions local families are actually asking.

Who are we looking for?
Corner Partners must be local, knowledgeable and committed to serving families with accuracy, respect and humanity. Content should be inclusive of different identities, abilities, backgrounds, family structures and financial circumstances. It should educate rather than frighten, shame or pressure readers.
Most importantly, I am looking for professionals who understand that trust is not created by putting a logo in front of someone repeatedly. It is created by showing up with something useful.
Founding Corner Partner Rates
Family Resource Corners are a limited enhancement available to selected annual Impact Partners at the standard Impact Partnership rate:
- Hershey & Harrisburg: $499 per month
- Carlisle & West Shore: $374 per month at the limited-time promotional rate
- Capital Region Reach: $749 per month for both publications
Articles appear in both publications only when the partner selects Capital Region Reach. Regional Impact Partnerships include guaranteed article and newsletter placement within the selected region.
The Corner enhancement is included in the Impact Partnership rate. It is not an additional charge.
