🐰 Everybunny Belongs: The Village That Showed Up
What was supposed to be an egg hunt turned into something much bigger. This is the story, the partners, and the moments that made it unforgettable.
Updated: 4/9/26

So… about that egg hunt
I planned for 750. I hoped for 1,000. 1,500 showed up. In 45-degree rain.
And yes… some things went sideways. But for every moment of chaos, there were a hundred moments of kindness.
Kids helping other kids. Parents sharing eggs. Teens stepping up as Bunny Buddies. Strangers becoming neighbors in real time.
This event was never about perfection. It was about belonging. And somehow, through the rain and the chaos, that’s exactly what happened.

- A teen placing eggs into a little one’s basket when they froze
- A parent handing off extras so another child wouldn’t leave empty-handed
- Volunteers standing in the rain for hours just to make it work
