So… about that egg hunt

I planned for 750. I hoped for 1,000. 1,500 showed up. In 45-degree rain.

And yes… some things went sideways. But for every moment of chaos, there were a hundred moments of kindness.

Kids helping other kids. Parents sharing eggs. Teens stepping up as Bunny Buddies. Strangers becoming neighbors in real time.

This event was never about perfection. It was about belonging. And somehow, through the rain and the chaos, that’s exactly what happened.
